Two communities… One Month! And we have the graphic novels highlighting both! You haven’t discovered our graphic novels yet? Let’s do it now!
FairSquare Comics, by design, promotes representation. And we have the books to back it. Here’s a little selection of Asian Pacific Islander and Jewish characters from our books:
INTERTWINED
In Intertwined, most of the cast is Asian. The main hero, Juan Jin, comes from Hong-Kong and Chinatown itself plays a huge role in the story. On top of that, co-creator Fred Pham-Chuong is of Vietnamese descent. But that’s not all!
Long Huo/Leah Ai Tian comes from Kaifeng, mainland China and is both Asian and a practicing Jew.

LADY-BIRD
The new first ladies of FairSquare Comics, Mina and Vega are also Asian. They come from a mysterious island called Estrella Negra, located in the Phillipine sea, off the Palau Islands.

CLASSIFIED: THE BLACK BOX
Coming out in August, THE BLACK BOX is a spy/thriller story where an Asian American political journalist, Tanya Yen, is dragged into an investigation she did not really thought she’d ever be involved with… Think “National Treasure” on steroids! From Fabrice Sapolsky and Tom Lyle!
