PHIL BRIONES started his career at Disney Studios, Paris, where he worked on many feature films such as TARZAN, FANTASIA 2000 and THE EMPEROR’S NEW GROOVE. He then started working in comics for many French publishers such as Soleil, Ankama and Delcourt before being drafted by American publishers from 2006. For Marvel (2006-2015), he drew titles such as WHITE TIGER, X-MEN, CAPTAIN AMERICA and X-FORCE. For DC Comics (2015-2019), he lent his talents to SUICIDE SQUAD, FLASH, AQUAMAN and DETECTIVE COMICS. Most recently (2019-2020), Phil worked for the Humanoids’ H1 and Legacy imprints on IGNITED and SIRENS OF THE NORSE SEA.
PHIL BRIONES is known for his incredible versatility: he writes, draws and colors. He’s as comfortable on American comics storytelling as he is on French or Japanese ones.
And while he remains open to working with any publisher, Phil has also been working on two creator owned graphic novels to be released in the near future.
