ATTENTION AWESOMENESS ON THE WAY! You liked the new Star Wars trailer? The Celebration Funko toys? Wait. It gets better. My next store signing won’t be at a comic book store. It won’t even be to promote my Intertwined series (well, at least not directly). I’ll be celebrating the 40th anniversary of Star Wars, as always with my convention partner Will Torres, at… a GAP store. And not any GAP store. The flagship store on 5th Avenue, NY.
Wait… What?
A comic book session in an apparel store? Yep. Never seen before. Unprecedented. Exclusive. And cool, right? GAP happens to have a special new collection of Star Wars clothes they wanted to promote in a unique way. And boom… The store director, Lea, approached me to do that! It was very quick to set up and organize.
Free art!
Will and I will draw all day. We’re going to portray clients and visitors as their favorite Star Wars characters. For FREE! Yep. Well, I’m sure, GAP will be very happy if you buy something in the process, but it’s not required.
Free drinks and candies
And because they really are great people, the GAP crew will offer complementary soft drinks and candies/cupcakes to those who’ll be waiting to get their mug turned into Jedi or Sith.

The one-time even will take place Wednesday, April 19th. From noon to 7PM non-stop, at the GAP 5th Ave. store, located 680 5th Avenue New York, NY. Closest subway: 5th Avenue/53rd St (E-M) or 57th St (F)
