When I was at the Baltimore Comic Con last week-end, I noticed that My Little Poneys and Pokémon and all sorts of kid stuff had great success with adults. So I decided to take a closer look. Well… Me being… Me… It couldn’t be politically correct. So I started to draw an illustration with Deadpool and Minions (below). Then I had the idea for this one : Harley Quinn roasting Pikachu for real while Mr J. takes a picture… of himself. Yes, I laughed while drawing that. 🙂
And I plan on doing more mashups. At a time where rumors of corporations going after creators for selling “illegal” art prints, I choose humor. Parody and sarcasm to the best of my knowledge, is still legal. hahaha.
